Gay pride again...

I still love Flickr!

One of the great things about Flickr is that after taking part in some event, you almost immediately can see lots and lots of photos from it. Several people have posted their pics from the pride parade in Oslo already, showing more of the variety than I manage to do with one single camera...

Here's another one, showing the Blikk guys (Blikk is the main Norwegian magazine for gay issues).

Gay parade

This year I preferred to watch the parade in Oslo, after having taken part two years in a row. It was a bit shorter than last year's Europride parade, but still, it showed the diversity of the gay "community" quite well. There were gays in drag, gay politicians, gay sporty guys, gay musicians etc etc etc.

In this picture, the message is "Ingen selvfølge at vi kan gå i homoparade" - meaning that being able to have a gay parade should not be taken for granted. There are lots of countries in which gays are prosecuted or harrassed.

Some more pictures from the parade (from Side 2 and others):

Movie: Adam & Steve

At The 16th Oslo Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, I just saw Adam & Steve. That's a funny movie. Totally over-the-top most of the time, but still managing to be funny enough to be endured.

It's not a movie I will want to see over and over, but there are situations that I will remember for a long time.

Steinbruvann

And today, I had a nice walk around Steinbruvann - the lake that is about 10 minutes walk from my home. I'm happy to live so close to a lake, even though I don't exactly go there every week...

(More photos from my walk around the lake is at flickr, by the way...)

Oslo Pride

Mr Gay Norway 2004
Originally uploaded by BjørnS.
Now, it's time for "Skeive dager" in Oslo again - the Oslo Pride. The film festival started today, and I have secured tickets for two movies... Then there is the Mr. Gay Norway competition (here's a photo from Mr. Gay Norway 2004, where the winner-to-be is desperately trying to show his condom skills) and the parade on Saturday 24th.

It will be fun.

28C in Oslo

Today was this year's hottest day, according to Dagsavisen. With 28C in Oslo, people were spending the day outdoors having fun.

I, on the other side, spent the day indoors, listening to people having oral exams.
