This is a documentary following the son of Cornelis Vreeswijk, the Dutch/Swedish singer, as he and his friend travels in Cornelis' footsteps to northern Norway. It turns into a road-movie, where the breathtaking nature plays only a small part compared to the son's journey into his father's past.
This all sounds very serious and profound, but it is also funny and - of course - Cornelis Vreeswijk's music is ever-present. We get to know him and his music a little better in the process.
I rarely see documentaries that are this beautiful.
